Tickets & Performances

 

Q: How do I buy tickets?

A: Tickets are available online right here on our website. You can also buy them at the door—just know that some shows sell out quickly!

 

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

A: Absolutely—as long as the show isn’t sold out. We recommend getting them in advance just to be safe.

 

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Doors typically open 30 minutes before showtime. Come early to grab a snack, find your seat, and settle in.

 

Q: How long are your shows?

A: Most shows run between 90 minutes and 2.5 hours, usually with a 10-15 minute intermission.

 

Q: Are your shows family-friendly?

A: Many of our productions are great for families, but some might have mature themes. Each show description includes age recommendations.

Q: Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

A: Yes! Our venues are accessible. If you need special assistance, just let us know ahead of time and we’ll be glad to help.

 

Q: Do you offer accommodations for hearing or visually impaired guests?

Q: How do I audition for a show?

A: We announce auditions on our website and social media. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re a seasoned performer or trying it out for the first time!

 

Q: Do I need experience to audition or help behind the scenes?

A: Not at all! We love welcoming folks of all experience levels, both onstage and backstage.

 

Q: What kinds of volunteer opportunities do you offer?

A: So many! You can help with set building, costumes, props, lighting, sound, ushering, concessions, marketing—you name it. It takes a village to make theatre happen!

Q: How can I support Cookeville Theatre Company?

A: Thank you for asking! You can support us by attending shows, becoming a donor or sponsor, volunteering, or even just sharing our events with your friends and family.

 

Q: Do you offer classes or workshops?

A: We do from time to time! Keep an eye on our website and social media for announcements about acting workshops, tech days, and other fun learning opportunities.

Policies

 

Q: What’s your refund policy?

A: All ticket sales are final. However, if something comes up, reach out—we’ll do our best to help, including offering exchanges if seats are available.

 

Q: Can I take photos or videos during the show?

A: Sorry, no photos or video during performances. It’s not only distracting but also against our licensing agreements. But please snap as many photos as you want before the show, at intermission, or with our cast at meet-and-greets!
