On behalf of the production team, I come with a sincere thank you to all those who auditioned for Cookeville Theatre Company’s upcoming summer production of Oklahoma!  We had a large turnout of talented people for auditions, meaning that the directors had to make many difficult casting decisions.  Our goal in casting Oklahoma was to create a true community on stage.  The casting process had to take into account the age range of the most talented candidates as well as the number of performers needed for specific vocal and dancing roles.  We also had to consider each actor’s stated scheduling conflicts.  We are thrilled to have had so much interest and to exist in a community that supports theatre.  We encourage everyone to audition for future productions and follow Cookeville Theatre Company on social media for upcoming opportunities.        

To those who were cast—congratulations!  Our initial cast meeting will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2026 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Upperman High School.  We ask that you contact the Stage Manager Jill Marsee at ctcoklahoma2026@gmail.com by Tuesday, January 13, 2026 to accept your role.
