Meet The Cast & Crew of Oklahoma!

Fifteen years ago, I stepped away from the Cookeville theatre community when the job of a lifetime came along. Once I walked back into a rehearsal hall in January to begin work on Oklahoma!, it felt like I was finally home. The welcome was much like being embraced by family, and I quickly realized how much I had missed, loved, and needed theatre in my life.

     My connection to Oklahoma! goes back more than 35 years. As a high school student, I saw a production featuring John Davidson, Jamie Farr, and Kim Crosby, and from the moment Curly walked onstage singing “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’,” I was hooked. Not long after, I had the opportunity to play Curly as a college freshman, and the music, characters, and heart of this classic have stayed with me ever since. When Cookeville Theatre Company began discussing possibilities for this summer’s musical, I knew Oklahoma! was the right choice. It is a show filled with unforgettable songs, timeless storytelling, and opportunities for performers of all ages to shine.

     What has made this production truly special, however, is the people. This cast may be young, but their talent, dedication, and willingness to learn have amazed me every single day. From seasoned veterans to first-time performers, each person has brought something meaningful to the process. I’ve also been fortunate to share this experience with my wife, Katie, and step-daughter, Anne. Katie, a talented director and artist herself,  has enriched nearly every aspect of this production, and I could not have done this without her support and encouragement. I also must call out my dear friend and stage manager, Jill Marsee, whose leadership and expertise have been invaluable. She is my right hand woman and my constant sounding board. She often stays one step ahead of me, and I truly appreciate her willingness to take on such an important task. Together with an exceptional production team that includes the talented Kaitlyn Craig (Musical Director) and Ella Grace Clompton (Choreographer), they have helped me create something I am incredibly proud to share with our community.

     My hope is that when the curtain falls, you’ll leave with a little nostalgia, a renewed appreciation for community theatre, and at least one song stuck in your head. More importantly, I hope you’ll feel connected to the people around you, both onstage and off. If you’re humming a tune on the drive home, telling friends about the show tomorrow, or planning to come back and see it again, then we’ve done our job. Whatever you do, don’t wait another 35 years to experience Oklahoma! again. I would like to thank our cast for their patience and dedication to this production, and more importantly, thanks to Cookeville Theatre Company for welcoming me home and entrusting me with this beautiful community of talented actors, musicians, and performers! is the owner and founder of UC Stars Dance, Cookeville’s first competitive dance studio. In addition to directing UC Stars Dance, Ella Grace currently serves as the coach of the Prescott South Middle School Dance Team  Throughout her career, Ella Grace has choreographed for numerous local theater productions. While her theatrical work has been a meaningful part of her artistic journey, her passion and expertise lies within the competitive dance world. Her choreography for UC Stars this season has earned multiple overall entertainment awards, with her routine “The Room Where It Happens” currently recognized on the Star Dance Alliance Power Rankings.

As a studio owner and instructor, Ella Grace is deeply passionate about creating opportunities for dancers in the Upper Cumberland region that traditionally require traveling to larger cities. She believes dancers from rural areas deserve access to the same quality training, mentorship, and industry experiences available in major dance markets.

Ella Grace would also like to extend heartfelt gratitude to her co-owner, Erika Cervantes, whose support and dedication to UC Stars Dance made her involvement in this production possible during long periods away from the studio. She is equally thankful to Hayden Michaelson for stepping in and subbing classes. Additionally, Ella Grace extends more thanks to Elise Jeanine who not only helped sub for classes at UC Stars, but also stepped in to be the dance captain and assistant choreographer for Oklahoma!  

Above all, Ella Grace’s passion is providing quality dance education to the Upper Cumberland and being a positive mentor and role model for children.

is an assistant district attorney by day and a dedicated Uber driver/personal assistant for a busy teenager by night. Her theatre journey began at Cookeville High School where she stage managed the first musical performed there (which happened to be Oklahoma!) in 1999. While she continued to stage manage with Theatre Sewanee, Dionysus & Co, and Perpetual Motion in college at the University of the South, she took a long sabbatical until 5 years ago when her daughter auditioned for her first production and immediately fell in love with theatre. Since then, Jill has been fortunate to be a parent volunteer with PSMS Musical Theatre, Cookeville Children’s Theatre, Cookeville Theatre Company, and CHS Choirs & Stage and have a front row seat to watch theatre change lives and build a community for children in Cookeville. She was convinced to again put on the headset and return to an old favorite by her dear friend Charles. Huge thanks to all of our wonderful cast and crew for your dedication and friendship and for inspiring me every single day; to the “Friday Friends” for being a constant respite in this crazy life; to the best paparazzo, stage husband, and dad extraordinaire Benjamin; and finally—to my reason for everything—my Violet. is a music educator at Cookeville High School, where she has spent the past three years witnessing firsthand how life changing music can be. She has seen its power to build confidence, create community, and shape her students’ lives in meaningful ways. Kaitlyn has been involved in local musical theatre since 2014, and the magic of live performance has become one of her greatest passions. She has previously served as music director for “Mamma Mia”, “Legally Blonde Jr.” and “The Sound of Music” at Upperman High School, as well as Cookeville Theatre Company’s “We Rise Above”. Each production has deepened her love for guiding performers and bringing stories to life through music. Kaitlyn is elated to join the “Oklahoma!” Team and honored to help share this beautiful, beloved score with the community.

is thrilled to be apart of CTC’s production of Oklahoma! Recently
he played the part of a Hebrew in Cookeville High School’s production of The Prince of Egypt. In
past years, he also played a part in CCT’s production of High School Musical as an ensemble
member. He would like to thank his parents for pushing him to pursue the things he loves, and
the cast, crew, and directors for making this show possible. He would also like to thank the
music director Kaitlyn Craig for allowing him this special opportunity!

is excited to be back on the CPAC stage! Currently, she is a
junior Musical Theatre major at Tennessee Tech and Oklahoma! will be her 31st production.
You may have seen her in other Cookeville productions like Les Mis (Eponine), R&H Cinderella
(Charlotte), and Our Town (Mrs. Webb). This show has been a dream for her, and she would
like to thank her cast mates, directors, family, and friends for believing in her and being present
every step of the way. She hopes you enjoy the show!

is so excited to perform in his first Cookeville Theatre Company
show in Oklahoma! Jacob has been an ensemble member in Cookeville High School’s past

three musicals, and last year played the title role of CHS’s play, Mort. He will be a senior in high
school this upcoming school year and plans to major in Aerospace Engineering in college.
Jacob would like to thank his mother for driving him long distances to rehearse and to Katie
Long for asking him to join such a wonderful show.

is really excited to be part of Oklahoma! While this is his first time to
perform in a theatre production, he has been involved in theatre on many occasions behind the
scenes, including assisting with building sets for several productions at Upperman High School,
where his wife Renee teaches and directs theatre. Additionally, he was the spotlight operator for
Cookeville Theatre Company’s production of Fiddler on the Roof. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Performing on the CPAC stage is always a joy and brings such terrific memories of all the
shows he has done on this stage. It’s wonderful to get to do Oklahoma! for the third time and so
special to share the stage with 5 family members. Thanks to the production crew and cast for

is very grateful to be on the stage again with CTC. He has participated in
over 30 shows in our community, and every one of them has been an amazing adventure. He is
glad to be able to share the stage with his family and so many friends. Thank you to Charles,

is a 21 year old Secondary Education History major at Tennessee
Tech University. This is his 6th musical. Previous roles include “Dmitry” in Anastasia at
Cookeville High School and “Motel” in Fiddler on the Roof with Cookeville Theatre Company. He
loves all kinds of live music performance as well as drumming and singing in the local cover
band “Altitude”. Josh thanks his family and friends for always supporting him in life as well as all
of the directors that have built his skills over the years. Josh gives a special shoutout to Jon
Alex Davidson for being a great friend (and employer). He is very excited for you all to see this

is thrilled to be a part of Cookeville Theatre Company’s production
of Oklahoma! This is his first production with the company and first time back on the stage in
over 12 years. Some of his favorite past roles include Perchik (Fiddler on the Roof), Feuilly (Les
Miserables), Mr. Potter (It’s a Wonderful Life), and Ike Skidmore (Oklahoma!). He is incredibly
grateful to the production team for this opportunity and making my return to the stage such a

Daughter) has been doing theater for almost five years with
Cookeville Children’s Theater and has been in all of the shows since Annie. She was also in the
Cookeville High School’s production of Mary Poppins and is excited to join more shows going
into her freshman year at CHS. When she is not acting, she enjoys competing in pageants. She
would like to thank everyone involved within the production of Oklahoma who helped make this
happen.

is an upcoming 9th grader at CHS and loves theatre!
She has been in many shows, including Aladdin Jr. (ensemble); Wizard of Oz Jr. (Glinda the
Good Witch); Alice in Wonderland Jr. (Cheshire Cat #1); and most recently, The Little Mermaid
Jr. (Sebastian)—all with Algood Middle School. Aside from theatre, Lila enjoys dancing on the
CHS dance team, singing, and hanging out with friends. Lila would like to thank Dr. Long, Mrs.
Katie, Mrs. Marsee, and everyone that has put together this wonderful show! She also wants to
thank all of her friends and family for supporting her in her theatre endeavors. She is so grateful

is excited to be appearing in her 10th musical and
second with Cookeville Theatre Company. She has recently been seen as Jasmine in Aladdin
Jr at Prescott South Middle School as well as a dancer in CCT’s Wizard of Oz. Carmen is a
rising freshman at Cookeville High School where she is involved in chorus, music theatre, and
dance. When she isn’t in a musical, she loves to travel, watch Broadway shows, and hang out
with her friends, family, and dog Loki. Carmen wants to thank her bestie Violet for yet another
fun theatre adventure, and she wants to shout out to all her family in Oklahoma- much love to

is thoroughly enjoying his second show with the Cookeville
Theatre Company! Some of his more recent performances include Miles at the CCT Camp,
(briefly) Pooh-Bah from The Mikado, and Kassim in PSMS’s Aladdin. Jack has also recently
performed as the Mortician/Assistant in the Golden Spurtle Murder Mystery Dinner. He is
excited to be going to CHS in the fall. Jack would like to credit his Mom for getting him into
theatre in the first place, Herr Übervater for reasons known to him and I solely, and finally his
girlfriend for actually getting him to do cool stuff.

is overjoyed to be apart of Oklahoma!
Her three most recent shows include Prince of Egypt at CHS as an Egyptian and Midianite, an
Ozian in The Wizard of Oz, and Zazu in The Lion King, Jr. at Prescott. She is a student at
Cookeville High School, and you might find her participating in some of her favorite things such
as choir, HOSA, or hanging out with friends. She is also currently volunteering at Cookeville
hospital for the summer. She is extremely grateful for her friends and family for always
supporting her and her cast mates, directors, and all other volunteers for contributing to make
this wonderful show happen.

is thrilled to be part of this production. She has been dancing
for 18 years and discovered her love for acting during her senior year while performing in CCT’s
Beauty and the Beast. She later spent a year training professionally at the CLI Conservatory,
where she worked with accomplished artists from the commercial and theater world. During her
training and professional experiences, she had the opportunity to work with artists including
Martha Nichols, Christopher Scott, and Miguel Zarate, and has appeared in both creative film
and music video projects. In addition to performing, Elise is a certified Pilates and barre
instructor and teaches dance under Ella Grace Clopton at UC Stars Dance in Cookeville.
Though naturally introverted, she finds joy and confidence on stage and is especially excited to
incorporate dance into this production. She is grateful to the cast and crew for their hard work
and support and hopes you enjoy the show!

is making her Cookeville Theatre Company debut. She is excited
to return to the stage after 12 years working backstage as a makeup artist and stage manager!
She was most recently seen in Cookeville Children’s Theatre’s “Oliver” (Strawberry Seller),
“Oklahoma!” (Ado Annie), and “It’s a Wonderful Life” (Mary Hatch Bailey). Katelyn received a
Broadway World Award for her portrayal of Ado Annie in 2012. She has been involved with
Cookeville Children’s Theatre since 2003 and the CHS choral department’s musicals since
2015. Katelyn is passionate about all things musical theatre from performing to tech crew to
being an audience member. Outside of theater, she is a 2nd grade teacher at Park View School.
Katelyn is having a blast being onstage with so many of her theater kiddos and being back
onstage with old theater friends! She is so proud of this entire cast and this fantastic show!

is so excited to be in her first CTC production! You
may have seen her as Young Margaret in Storyteller House’s The Cabana, Glinda in CCT’s The
Wizard of Oz, or Sister Margaretta in CCT’s The Sound of Music. Meredith is a recent high
school graduate from CHS, was involved with Chamber Singers, CHS musical theatre, the
Dance program, and she also acted as the President of the National Honors Society for Dance
Arts. Meredith would like to thank the cast for making this experience so much fun, the crew for
making everything come together, and her family for always encouraging her love for the
performing arts! Sit back and join us in this soon-to-be brand new state, Oklahoma!

overall! Most recently you may have seen her as a featured dancer in The Prince of Egypt at

“Rafiki” in The Lion King Jr at Prescott South Middle School and “Bielke” in Fiddler on the Roof

is a rising 4th grader at Capshaw Elementary
where she is involved in the Capshaw Chorus. She is very excited to be in a play with her
family for her first on stage role. She plans to go to Algood Middle School. She would like to

is an upcoming senior at Cookeville High School. He is thrilled
to be a part of Oklahoma and wants to thank his incredible directors and cast mates for making
this show come together. You may have seen Gabe recently in Cookeville High School’s
production of Prince of Egypt earlier this year as well as the production of Mort at CHS last fall.
He would also like to thank his parents who are also a part of this show for always being there

Liam is a rising sophomore at Cookeville High School. He has been in various productions in
the past but you may have more recently seen him as an Outlaw in Shakespeare in the Park's
2024 production of Two Gentlemen of Verona, The Mad Hatter in AMS's 2025 production of
Alice in Wonderland, and King Olerve and the Bursur in CHS's 2025 production of Mort. Liam
enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and singing while playing piano. He would like to
give a special thanks to Jill, Charles, Katie, and all the amazing cast and crew for making this
wonderful show possible. He would also like to thank his family for joining the show with him. It
has been a delight being in the first show he's been in with his entire family. Last of all, Liam

music, she is excited to have a chance to sing again. By day she works in banking, and by
night, she’s usually cheering on her three theater-loving kids, Gabe, Liam, and Adalyn. She
thanks her husband, Seth, and her family for their constant support and is thrilled to share this
experience with all of them.

is stepping onto the stage for the first time and couldn’t imagine
a better way to do it than with his wife and three children by his side. Oklahoma! has turned into
a full family adventure, and he’s loved every minute of the rehearsal chaos and shared
memories. He would like to thank God for this opportunity to build memories with his family and
his lovely wife and children for sharing this experience with him. He's also very thankful to the
director and crew that have made this opportunity possible!

is taking the stage for Cookeville Theatre Co. for the first time.
He previously was seen in Algood Middle School's production of The Little Mermaid as a sailor
and a chef. Magnus will be a sixth grader this fall and enjoys video games and sports in his
spare time. He was seen in the short film The Case of the Sweaty Fat Guy for the 48 Film
Festival. Magnus hopes that everyone enjoys seeing this product as much as he has enjoyed
being a part of it. Also, Magnus has loved working with all the cast and crew members,
including his dad, Tim, and sister, Skylar.

is thrilled to be in her first show with Cookeville
Theatre Company in Oklahoma! She is a rising sophomore at Cookeville High School. This is
her 8th show, she was recently seen in the Prince of Egypt and Mort at Cookeville High School.
She also performed 4 years at Algood Middle School in productions of Madagascar Jr., Aladdin

Jr., Wizard of Oz Jr., and Alice in Wonderland Jr. Skylar has always had a passion for the arts.
She was in choir throughout middle school and in the freshman choir at CHS where she was
selected for MTVA’s Midstate Choir. She is also starting her first season of color guard at CHS.
She would love to give thanks to her outstanding directors for putting on an incredible show and
her dad and brother for always supporting her through every step of the way. She hopes you

is making his stage debut in one of the all-time great
productions, Oklahoma! Tim has created, and starred in, multiple short films including; Yeti or
Not, Back on the Market, The Case of the Sweaty Fat Guy, and The Carwash From HELL! In
his spare time, he likes to play Dungeons and Dragons and has been a DM for 24 years. Tim
hopes to be elected to serve the People of Algood as a member of the City Council in the
August election. He would like to extend a giant-sized ''thank you'' to the cast and crew of
Oklahoma! for making this experience so much fun... especially his children, Skylar and
Magnus, for guiding him through this wonderful adventure.

Madelyn is so excited to be in her first show with the
lovely Cookeville Theatre Company! Her favorite credits include Little Women, Legally Blonde
Jr., and Almost, Maine with Upperman High School's theatre program. Madelyn would like to
thank her wonderful mother, partner, and the cast and crew for making all of her theatre dreams

is an MBA student at Tennessee Tech and has been doing
theatre for about 5 years now. He also enjoys working out, playing volleyball, and watching
movies. Oklahoma has been a carefree, timeless, great time! He has very much enjoyed being
a part of this production and hopes that all audience members interested in being in a musical
look into CTC in the future!

is overjoyed to once again perform at Cookeville Performing Arts
Center! You may have seen Liam's debut in Fiddler on the Roof"as a ensemble member or his
senior show as the Captain in The Sound of Music at Upperman High School. He also has
been student directing at Upperman High School for the past school year. He is currently a
history/secondary education major at Tennessee Tech University. He would like to give his
thanks to his family for their continued support and his dear friends in the cast for encouraging
him.

is pleased to be treading the boards again after an
almost 12-year absence. She was last seen as Christmas Eve in Avenue Q at the Backdoor
Playhouse. Some other favorite roles include Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, Rona Lisa Peretti
in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and Eulalie Shinn in The Music Man. Her
alphabet soup of degrees includes a B.A. double-major in Theatre and Mathematics from
Vanderbilt University. Dr. Pashley retired from the TN Tech College of Business faculty in
December 2024 after 38 1/2 years and is now Professor Emerita of Finance. Many thanks to

is a sophomore at Tennessee Tech University
majoring in Exercise Science with a concentration in Pre-Occupational Therapy. She has been
dancing for 16 years and recently completed her first year teaching at Stage One Dance Studio
and serving as head coach of the Avery Trace Middle School Dance Team. Anderson has been
involved with Cookeville Children’s Theatre for 11 years, performing in eight productions, as well
as four productions with Cookeville High School Theatre. Her favorite shows include Beauty and
the Beast, Anastasia, and Mary Poppins. She is excited to be a part of her first CTC production
and is so grateful for the opportunity to continue doing what she loves after graduating high
school. She would like to thank everyone who helped make this show possible, especially her

is ecstatic to make his return to Cookeville Theatre
Company in their production of Oklahoma! He previously played the role of Perchik in CTC’s
production of Fiddler on the Roof. Other roles include Dr. Gibbs in Our Town and Cinderella’s
Prince in Into the Woods (The Backdoor Playhouse). He is currently a junior at Tennessee Tech
University pursuing a degree in Musical Theatre Performance. He also works as a Barista at
Vertical Coffee Company where he makes the best lattes in town. He would like to thank the

past four years, being in a total 7 shows. Her most recent role was Ursula in The Little Mermaid

has found so much joy in being a part of Oklahoma!
This is her second show with CTC after performing in Fiddler on the Roof, and she is no
stranger to theater in Cookeville after four years on the stage at Upperman High. Mim is a
sophomore at Belmont University, where she is getting her BFA in Theater Performance, and
has recently appeared in The Bookstore, scenes from Blithe Spirit, and John Proctor is the
Villain. She would like to thank her family, her best friends, and the members of this cast for
being endlessly fun to work with. She hopes you view this show as proof that theater can be a
place for everyone and that you laugh as much watching it as they did making it!

Scott has been involved in the Cookeville theatre
scene off and on since the early ‘90s. He is deeply grateful to be able to share the stage with
such an amazingly talented and hard working cast. He would like to thank his family, in
particular his wife, Shannon, for her patience throughout rehearsals. And as always, he'd like to
thank Frankie.

Josie’s previous stage experience includes Aladdin Jr. at Prescott
South Middle School. Some of her favorite hobbies are dancing and roller blading. She would
like to give shoutouts to all the people that have been a part of this journey with me, including
her parents for getting her to and from practice, and being great support. She would also like to
thank her older brother Owen for doing this show with her. Finally, she would like to thank all her

may recognize him from his previous roles as a Hebrew featured dancer in CHS’s The Prince of
Egypt or as a Statue in Mary Poppins. Owen would like to thank director Charles Long and his

is thrilled to make his Cookeville Theatre Company debut as Fred in
Oklahoma! He most recently worked behind the scenes on CCT's production of High School

Musical (2019) and is excited to return to the theatre. Seth developed a love for the performing
arts at a young age, participating in numerous productions and taking voice and piano lessons
along the way. He earned a bachelor's degree in Biology from Tennessee Tech University (Class
of 2024) and recently completed a master's degree in Public Health at the University of
Tennessee, Knoxville (Class of 2026). Seth currently works at Gunnels' Florist and plans to
attend dental school to pursue a career in dentistry. Outside of work and the stage, he enjoys
playing tennis and pickleball. Seth would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the entire
production team, especially choreographer Ella Grace Clopton, who reintroduced him to theatre
and made this experience possible. He would also like to thank Katelyn Leddy, Elise Jeanine,
his family, his Gunnels' Florist family, and, of course, Ariana Grande for the endless inspiration
and reminding him that the best is yet to come.

She has appeared as Brigitta in Upperman High School’s production of Sound of Music as well
as Shprintze in CTC’s production of Fiddler on the Roof, as well as numerous other productions.
In her free time, she likes to dance with Upperman Middle School’s dance team and to spend

She has been a part of many Prescott and CCT shows, having recently appeared as Timon in
The Lion King Jr. and serving as the Dance Captain for Aladdin Jr. at Prescott South Middle

Oklahoma! He is a student at UT-Chattanooga studying math education. You may have recently
seen him as Robertson Ay and Ensemble in CHS’s production of Mary Poppins and Max
